This year I hope to be going to Canada, I have always believed that my music would be well received there and it’s about time I got off my backside and made the move to make that happen.

Also, I plan to finish the book I am writing, which is pretty much at the editing stage. I’ll keep you posted on that. There will be more dates coming in; you’ll see that in September there is a special concert on my birthday.

I am planning to extend the idea into the Mike Silver “Now I’m 64 Birthday Tour”. Let’s face it, everybody does 65! In any event I’m not planning to stop touring yet, I still feel like I only just got started and for me playing live is the best aspect of making music by a country mile.

I have been working on establishing a My Space site www.myspace.com/mikesilver2008 and a Sonic Bids www.sonicbids.com/mikesilver site as well.   There are audio tracks available on both these sites and I am going for the learning curve with a plan to get some video up on both of them in the next few weeks.
